Nimia is a bard at our table, played by my fiancée. A librarian's daughter from the Grand Library of Aurelia, at the time of writing this, over fifty sessions old.
She collects other people's stories. She is afraid of most things but does them anyway. Always attempts to do things through negotiation, even with the ugliest and most bloodthirsty of monsters.

She is also a black orb junkie. She had been warned about the black globe repeatedly but could not stay away from it until it swooshed her away into a realm of the big bad emperor. Limbo.
When we finally reached the final stage to rescue her, making fishy deals along the way, the music failed Adam, our DM, completely due to bad wifi. I've built NIMIA not only for this but also as a learning project. NIMIA is offline and always ready when you need it.

NIMIA plays straight into your voice channel through a bot you set up once. It has its own audio stream in high quality, separate from your microphone, and you can control it with /commands from Discord.

How to set it up →The bundled library never touches the network. No account, no telemetry, no analytics, and nothing about your session leaves the machine unless you switch on an optional feature: the YouTube source, the Discord status or the Discord bot. All three are off until you do.
Parts of the application's code and design were generated or co-created using AI tools. I know the TTRPG community doesn't like AI in art. I am a shit coder, so the app was built with Claude. However, the sounds and music you hear come from artists I've found sharing their work under free licences. They are all properly attributed, and the CC BY-SA ones I had to adjust for the app are shared on a public repo.
Bundled recordings are CC0, CC BY and CC BY-SA, apart from a few under their own terms, mostly from Freesound, OpenGameArt and the Free Music Archive. This music comes from real artists and every author is credited inside the app. The modified CC BY-SA files are published at github.com/tokypt/nimia-audio.

Please, include as much detail as you can. Version of your operating system, what your resolution is, what you were doing when the bug appeared, and ideally try to reproduce it as well. It's gonna help me immensely when looking for the bug.
